Archiving Policy
The journals are archived as a Long-term permanent preservation service at Portico, PKP PN, LOCKSS, and CLOCKSS systems and on the journal website for distributed archiving among libraries.
LOCKSS: Open Journal Systems supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure a secure and permanent archive. LOCKSS is open-source software that regularly archives selected web journals and validates against other libraries. It restores content if corrupted or lost, ensuring the long-term preservation of academic journals.
CLOCKSS: Open Journal Systems also supports the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure a secure and permanent archive for the journal. It is a secure archiving system that preserves selected web journals by regularly archiving newly published content. The archives are continually validated and restored if lost or corrupted.
